Final Round AI alternative: practice before the interview
Final Round AI is a desktop app for interview preparation and live interviews. Its site describes its Interview CoPilot as “an AI interview assistant that listens to your live interview and delivers real-time answers in a private window only you can see.” It also offers practice interviews in eight scenarios, behavioral among them, and writes a debrief after each session.

When Final Round AI is the better choice
- You want one app for many interview formats. Its practice scenarios include coding, system design, product case, data and ML, and salary negotiation as well as behavioral. MockRun covers behavioral interviews only.
- You want help during the live interview itself. That is what Interview CoPilot is for, and MockRun doesn’t offer it.
- You want practice built around one job: its practice interviews use the target role, company, job description, resume and materials you add.
When MockRun fits better
MockRun is practice before the interview. It gives no help during a real one. It fits better when:
- You want to practice saying your answers: a live spoken conversation, one behavioral question at a time, with typing if you prefer.
- You want follow-up questions that probe how you acted: what you did yourself and how, then why you chose that approach or what changed.
- You want a written review of each question that quotes your answer and names one thing to practice next.
- You want one framework for any behavioral interview. Questions are grouped by Amazon’s Leadership Principles, one of the most complete public lists of what these questions look for.
- You want practice shaped by hiring experience. MockRun is built by a former AWS hiring manager.
